Our lunch before it is prepped.
Half Hite beer and half Chilsung Cider (lemon-lime soda). A refreshing drink for the summer.
Main course number one. Assortment of sea cucumber, gaebul, sea squirt, abalone, and other seafood I could not recognize.
Final course. Freshwater eel.
Suhae Joogoomee in Seocho, Korea
Octopus and various vegetables.
Close up before it started cooking.
The final product.
Kyodae Ggopchang in Seocho
Located across the street from Seoul National University of Education
It's this busy every night of the week.
Kyodae Ggopchang's own valet service.
A look inside the restaurant. There is another dining area identical to this next door. Both were packed on this particular night.
At most restaurants where the food is cooked at the table an apron is provided so you don't mess up your clothes.
One of my favorite 반찬 (side dish). 부추 (Korean leeks).
Our main dish. Assortment of green onions, onions, lamb meat, 곱창 (pig intestines), and 대창 (I think cow intestines). Help me out if I'm wrong.
From top to bottom: 대창, lamb meat, and 곱창.
At the end of our meal, we ordered some fried rice. This is one serving.
